1. SYNOPSIS OF THE WEB SITE

Family, church, and culture kick his ass in East Texas. His Dad and Sister protect a child molester and he is beaten for speaking about the obvious. The family passes him off to be manipulated, swindled, and essentially trafficked by some local ministries. Whatever remains of him becomes dumped and scavenged by the local culture. By true intent or through indifference, where else would so many come together to protect a child molester? East Texas is a culture of fear and absurdity. Exonerated child molesters allow you to punish his victims again. Hypocrisy abounds and obtaining pariah status is the price of that wisdom. Banality has its own madness and evil prevails in East Texas.

THE LEAGUE OF DREAD is about...a family protecting their son's molester through punishing the son. The family is inadvertently aided by the indifference and ineptitude of local ministries and the culture itself. Exposure is ignition then justice begins. This is not about extortion or any means of a dubious nature. The behavior of the vain changes when eyes are upon them.

2008 was the last time that all of the family came together for a vacation. Later that summer, Greg Matte's sermon was about a prayer that asked God to strip down your life, so that it may be rebuilt to according to His suiting. I was afraid to pray that prayer, but I did. I consider October 13, 2008 to be the day that the prayer began its answer. I have always been open about matters of addiction and that was the day that therapy began to end a two year affair with pain killers. What follows is not poetics, but merely a list. It is all true.
