SYNOPSIS OF DREAD

1. SYNOPSIS OF THE WEB SITE

Family, church, and culture kick his ass in East Texas. His Dad and Sister protect a child molester and he is beaten for speaking about the obvious. The family passes him off to be manipulated, swindled, and essentially trafficked by some local ministries. Whatever remains of him becomes dumped and scavenged by the local culture. By true intent or through indifference, where else would so many come together to protect a child molester? East Texas is a culture of fear and absurdity. Exonerated child molesters allow you to punish his victims again. Hypocrisy abounds and obtaining pariah status is the price of that wisdom. Banality has its own madness and evil prevails in East Texas.

Consider this to be a fable of the ridiculous. The myopic and the vain declare their allegiance to the absurd and desperately fearful. The League of Dread is a mirrored aspect of our day and age. This is how one may be slain by the weak. Be wary of condemnation or inadvertently curse your reflection.
The  sequence of events begin with crimes of the family being carried forth by the church. He is passed around and eventually dropped, forgotten, and misplaced into the culture. These are the vignettes of experiencing that absurdity. 

2. SYNOPSIS OF nonAtomas (FAMILY)

This may be read in their numbered order or in the order of this synopsis.

I. nonAtomas 5: DAD IN VIGNETTES

Let us begin with the behavior of his Dad. Historically speaking, he has always been a good man and this is a reflection of that evidence.

II. nonAtomas 4: CUT OF A BLADED SPIRIT

There are reasons to imply why his Dad’s behavior changes. Nevertheless, his Dad became possessed by fear and it took the breaching of extremes to protect the family secrets.

III. nonAtomas 1: THE BEARING OF SLAVES

The family child molester is part of those secrets. Therapy was nearing completion and he merely wished to get on with his life. However, one parental delusion prevented that wish.

IV. nonAtomas 2: A CRIMINAL FRAME

He had come down for three days and now it has been over three years. His Dad and sister fail to frame him, but he still receives a ‘no trespassing warning’ ticket and thus he is barred from going home for over two years.

V. nonAtomas 6: HOUSE

When the ticket expires, the family either takes or discards his things so that the house can be placed on the market to sell. The house was built in 2009 for his parent’s retirement and the land has been in his family for almost a century. In essence, his Dad trashes all character and legacy for a mere illusion. His family avoids him by moving to Tyler, Texas.

VI. nonAtomas 7: 80 PROOF AND TALKING

Whenever people hear the term ‘home wrecker.’ they probably do not think of a fat, fifty-nine year old man. The blonde bimbo would seem to be the stereotypical image that is associated with ‘home wrecker.’ His family has mastered the reverse absurdity.

VII. nonAtomas 3: OBVIOUS AND ELUSIVE

Understanding comes as more secrets rise to the surface. Filling in those blanks comes with a price and slowly the mystery of his own life is being solved.

VIII. nonAtomas 8: GREEN ACRES

3. X-RAY FAITH (Churches and Ministries)

He should have been an easy fix for the ministries. There was no criminal record, he went to university for mathematics, he had a good work history, he was ambitious, and so forth. When everyone added their own agenda to the mix, it became a stalemate of impossibility. He was manipulated, used, starved, kept, watched, isolated, and he mostly worked for free. These good old boy ministry people inadvertently strayed into breaking the laws regarding human trafficking.

He had just a few problems when he arrived in Anderson County. He was concerned for his Dad and he asked the ministries to apply Matthew 18:16-20 to the situation. This is how Believers deal with conflict. It also became a litmus test for the integrity of the local ministries. Over twenty ministries were requested to apply the Scriptural dictates from Matthew. They all declined.

This was supposed to be a three day visit and now it has been over three years. The ministries stole the pick-up instead of fixing it. The longer he remains, the more he loses. He was also slandered by the family and the ministries to the point of it being impossible to get a job. Essentially he was shaken down for everything that he had. They even sought to steal the inheritance that he had been saving for his nieces. He never expected the church to be so blatantly evil and self-serving.

4. NATIVES (Culture in Anderson County, Texas)

He receives a one and one half month rest and decompression in Fairfield, Texas. Then he is misled into being abandoned again in Palestine, Texas. This occurred by the man that picked him up from Fairfield. The man claimed to be a prophet and that he had to submit to him. He said ‘no’ and that became abandonment. The hilarity begins again with an added layer of frustration in all of its varieties. This has become the endless end.
